I had a frightening dream of drowning in mud a few years ago. I prayed over it and also shared it with my family and friends to get their views about it.
It was then that I was exposed to the different dream interpretations attached to mud. And though, as a theologian, I do not ascribe to such beliefs, I was intrigued to research more and learn about the dream world.

Mud is also viewed as a symbol of change. This symbolism is derived from the book of Jeremiah 18:1-6 where the prophet encountered a potter making various pots from clay, and the Lord reminded Jeremiah that He could do to him what the potter has done.
This is said to signify transformation, the Lord’s ability to transform us at any time.
Spiritual reasons why you keep dreaming about mud
Mud is always viewed as something dirty and unpleasant due to its appearance. Some people attach spiritual reasons to why someone can dream about mud. Let’s look at some;
