At theology school, my research into different Christian doctrines and teachings led me down the path of human and Christian Anthropology.
I was particularly drawn to the Christian beliefs and importance laid on numbers and numerology. While researching, I not only read the bible cover to cover, but also read several scholarly publications and learned from religious leaders.
My church pastor also played an important role in the research as his summons about the 12 apostles of Christ felt like more than a coincidence. I engaged him severally and gained a wealth of knowledge.
Last week, my college theology students asked me to explain the significance of 12. Most of them brought up the subject of the 12 disciples and tribes of Israel.
I provided them with comprehensive answers on the matter based on my research.
