According to Jehovah’s Witnesses’ beliefs, Heaven is a place full of faithful spirits engaging in happy activities. They explain this depiction of what Heaven is like using the book of Daniel 7:9-10.

It is a vision that talks about the activities in Heaven, mentioning the thousands of creatures who were ministering.

They also believe that these spirits have distinctive traits, and they explain that since all creatures that God created have different traits, then the creatures in Heaven also have different traits.

According to their beliefs, only 144000 people will go to Heaven. They explain their belief using the book of Revelation 7:4, which talks of a vision about the sealed members from every tribe in Israel.

The verse mentions that there were 144000 sealed members in John’s vision. Also, they use the book of Revelation 14:1-3 to defend their belief about the number of people who will go to Heaven.

In this verse, John saw a vision of the lamb on the mount of Zion, and beside him were 144000 people having a mark of His name and the name of the Father.

Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that the lamb represents the resurrected Jesus, and the people with marks represent those who will make it to Heaven.

Furthermore, they also explain that not all good people will go to Heaven; this specific number represents those who will go and rule with Christ. They suggest that the rest of the good people will receive eternal life on earth.

Do Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that other religions can go to Heaven?

Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that it is not in their place to judge which religion goes to Heaven or not, but their criteria of who gets saved implies that only they can go to Heaven.

They believe that their religion is the truest. They also suggest that to be saved, you must want both salvation and be willing to cooperate with the Savior.

Since salvation is necessary for anyone to go to Heaven, they believe that following these requirements gets an individual saved and hence will make it to Heaven.

First, they suggest that a person must demonstrate love for others, as Jesus loved all humanity and died for humanity. Second, they believe that a person has to know the name of God, Jehovah, know its qualities, and preach to others about the name.

Lastly, supporting and preaching about the Kingdom of God.

They believe that Jehovah’s Witnesses try to follow these requirements.

Some Jehovah’s Witnesses explicitly say that it is only they that can go to Heaven and not any other religion.

First, they believe that for an individual to be saved, they must first be associated with Christ’s organization and their church, obey their religion’s rules, and Have faith in God.

According to an ex-Jehovah’s Witness Member, the religion believes that 144000 of its members will go to Heaven, the rest of the Jehovah’s Witnesses will remain on earth, which will be a paradise, and the otherworldly people (all the non-Jehovah Witnesses) will be killed at Armageddon.

What must you do as a Jehovah’s Witness to get into Heaven?

According to their beliefs, a Jehovah’s Witness must endure and persevere to the end of their life as they do God’s Will for them to get to Heaven.

Also, they say that it is important to maintain faith in Jesus Christ and accept that He is their personal Savior. In addition, they believe that one has to surrender to Him and confess it publicly.
