He gives us strength when we are going through hard times and comforts us in our times of sorrow. My friend lost her Fiancé in a car accident, and she was devastated. I could do nothing to make her feel better, but I knew God had the power to comfort her. Therefore, I decided to pray for God to be her strength and heal her grief. I can testify that God answered my prayers, and she has accepted the reality and believes God has his reasons. So, here are different Prayers to Comfort a Grieving Friend.

A grieving person may lack the strength and Faith to pray because of the confusion and anger that grief brings. However, you can help them overcome all these emotions by asking God to comfort them. Nothing you can say to them will make them feel any better, but when you let God be in control, he will enable them to have Faith and Hope in life again because according to 2 Corinthians 1:3-5, the Bible implies that God comforts and gives us hope in all our afflictions.
