As a faithful Christian and theologian, I take an interest in God’s protection of His children. His protection especially enthralled me after surviving a fatal car accident where my car was damaged beyond repair, and I walked out without any injuries. I decided to research more on this topic and therefore studied the Bible and even met with other devoted Christians and church leaders to learn what they knew and believed. Recently, I was leading a youth online forum on a discussion about God’s protection. One member asked what God protects us from, while another was curious to know whether God has the power to protect us from every evil on earth. Having studied every scripture in the Bible about this topic, I had all the answers they wanted to know. So, can God protect you from anything?
God can protect you from anything. According to Psalms 91:10-12, no harm will happen to you, and no disaster will come close to your tent because God will command his angels to goal you in everything you do. God has declared he will always protect you from anything formed to harm you and even your household. Therefore, no dark actions or malicious attacks are formed to hurt you that will prosper while God is watching over you.

What does the Bible say about protection?
The Bible says that God will protect his servants, those who are loyal, believe, and trust in Him. Isaiah 54:17 records that the Lord says that he will protect you from any weapon formed against his servants. God has declared to protect all his servants from all forms of evil or danger. A servant of God is someone who is devoted to God, is humble before the Lord, and always ready to follow the will of God.
An incident where God protects his servant is in Daniel chapter 6, where God rescued Daniel, his servant, from a den of lions. After King Nebuchadnezzar took Daniel and other young men from Juday into captivity, Daniel continued praying and trusting in the Lord. The king threw Him in a den of lions to be devoured by the Lord to protect him, and when they took him out of the den, no wound was found on him. Proverbs 2:8 says that God protects those who are loyal to him. Daniel was loyal to the Lord, and he received his protection.
Also, Proverbs 30:5 says that God is a shield to the people who seek refuge in Him. Therefore, if you trust in God’s protection and seek his refuge, he will provide his protection to you from any form of weapon set to hurt you.
What does God protect you from?
God protects you from all harm. Psalm 121:7-8 says that God will protect you from all harm, he will watch over you in everything you do and in any situation you are in, now and forever. This is a part of David’s song that he wrote in Psalms 121 to show that God is the ultimate protector. David says that God does not sleep or get tired of protecting his people. Therefore, God will protect you from anything harm formed against you at all times.
David also tells us in Psalm 138:7 that God protects us from all our enemies. God will walk with your while you are in trouble and save you when your enemies plan to hurt you. Therefore, do not be afraid, for the Lord your God is with you in all situations, it doesn’t matter the time, place, or the number of times he has protected you, he will protect you and will never get tired of doing it.
How do you ask God for protection?
You ask God for protection through prayers. Praying is one of the ways to communicate with God. The Bible says in Philippians 4:6 that instead of getting worried, you should make your request to God in prayers, thanksgiving, and supplication. You don’t have to worry about your protection because you can ask for God’s protection through prayers. However, you have to believe in God’s protection for God to answer your prayer, as indicated in Mark 11:24.
How do I know God is protecting me?
It is tough to know whether God is protecting you because you cannot see him do it. However, one sign to help you know that God is protecting you is you are still alive. You may think it’s a cliché to testify that you are alive, but the fact you are alive right now is a testimony of God’s protection towards you. Psalms 91:3-4 records God will save you from those who plan on hurting you and any deadly disease. God will shelter you under his wings and shield you from any evil. Therefore, when you fall sick and get healed, its means that God is protecting you. When you face any danger from the evil one and do not die due to their evil planning, it is a sign that God is protecting you. Having a life is the biggest sign that God is protecting you, all you have to do is believe it.
Will God protect me if I don’t believe in him?
Psalms 91:14-16 says that God says He will protect and save those who acknowledge Him as the Lord. It also says that he will hear their prayers when they are in trouble and rescue them. Therefore, God has declared that He will protect those who believe in Him. You have to trust in the Lord and acknowledge his existence for God’s protection to be upon you. You cannot receive protection from someone you don’t believe exists. Have faith and ask for God’s protection, and he will grant it to you.
