I find it inspirational that he left behind everything he knew to follow God’s call in his life. He journeyed to a new land and was chosen and blessed because of this. So, did Abraham go to heaven?
The Bible implies that Abraham went to heaven. Although there is no direct mention of Abraham’s ascent to heaven, several passages of Scripture suggest that he is in heaven. Many people believe that Abraham, like other righteous individuals, was granted a place in paradise, specifically a place referred to as “Abraham’s bosom.”

Does the Bible confirm that Abraham went to heaven?

Genesis 15:6 says, “And he [Abraham] believed in the Lord, and he counted it to him as righteousness.” This passage suggests that Abraham had a strong faith in God, and his faith was counted as righteousness. This idea is also reiterated in the New Testament in Romans 4:3 and Galatians 3:6.
Furthermore, in Luke 16:22, the Scripture says that after the death of the rich man and Lazarus, “the poor man [Lazarus] died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side.” Some biblical scholars interpret “Abraham’s side” to mean heaven.

What happened to Abraham after he died?

Did Abraham ascend to heaven?
