As the church Bible study group leader, I have attended Bible study classes for years. We often come across a verse that teaches and reminds us of God’s Love. Knowing that God loves and intends us to be here allows me to live freely, trusting in Him. Many Christians today do not acknowledge or understand God’s love for us. It is therefore important to ask ourselves; how many times is God’s Love mentioned in the Bible?
It is approximated that God’s love is mentioned in the Bible more than 300 times. These verses are distributed both in the Old and New Testaments. Some verses describe the nature of God’s love, while others describe instances where God’s love for us was revealed. This implies that God has always loved us since the beginning and will continue to love us till the end of time.
This article will discuss different verses where God’s love is mentioned. We will also identify where God’s love is first mentioned in the Bible and the components of God’s love. Also, we will look at God’s greatest act of love for humanity. Read on to learn these and much more.
