If God is not the author of Confusion, why did he use the spirit of Confusion in Deuteronomy 28:20-68?
It’s important to note that God didn’t cause Confusion but rather allowed it as a consequence of the Israelites’ disobedience. The curse of Confusion was a natural result of the Israelites turning away from God and following their desires. Understanding the context of the passage in Deuteronomy 28:20-68 is crucial. The Israelites had made a covenant with God, promising to obey His commandments and follow Him, and in return, God promised to bless them and protect them from their enemies. However, the Israelites repeatedly disobeyed God and turned to other gods, breaking their covenant with Him, therefore, as a result, God allowed them to experience the consequences of their disobedience, which included Confusion, as outlined in Deuteronomy 28. As suggested in Isaiah 45:7, God is in control of everything, including both good and bad situations. However, this doesn’t mean that God is the author of evil or Confusion. Rather, He allows evil and Confusion to exist as a consequence of sin and disobedience.

Additionally, James 3:16 implies the same suggesting that Confusion and disorder are linked to negative, sinful behaviors orchestrated by Satan. Furthermore, the Bible portrays Satan as a deceiver and tempter who seeks to lead people astray from God, as suggested in John 8:44 and John 12:31. Also, Christian theologians suggest that Satan is actively working to oppose God and His followers and uses tactics such as deception, Confusion, and temptations to achieve his goals.

How do you fight against Confusion from Satan?
One way of fighting against Confusion from Satan is to seek God’s wisdom, as implied in James 1:5. Resisting the devil, as suggested in James 4:7, is also another way. When we’re facing Confusion from Satan, we can actively resist his attacks by standing firm in our faith, using Scripture to combat his lies, and refusing to give in to temptation. Additionally, staying grounded in God’s truth is a powerful way of fighting Satan’s Confusion. Lastly, praying for clarity and God’s guidance can is crucial when dealing with Confusion.
