If you read the Bible keenly, you will come across the story of how Satan was the most beautiful angel of God until he rebelled against him and was thrown from heaven. As a Christian with fifteen years in ministry, I am always thrilled to learn more about the fall between God and Satan. The Bible does not give us the exact year or date when Satan fell. The book of Isaiah 14:12-15 also gives us an insight into what led to the fall of Satan. The book of Isaiah reveals how Satan had planned to overthrow the kingdom and leadership of God and make himself the most high. Although these three scriptures help us know what led to the fall of Satan, they do not specify when Satan fell from heaven.
Are there theological estimates of when Satan fell from heaven?
No precise theological estimates of when Satan fell from heaven have been made. However, a few theologians have suggested that Satan’s fall might have occurred after the angels had been created; this is before humankind was created and before he got to lead Eve into sin. Theologians from the Ministry magazine organization also suggested that although they do not have an estimation of when Satan fell from heaven, he might have fallen not too long before God created the earth and the first people.
Did Satan fall down to earth?
A few scriptures in the Bible reveal that Satan fell down to earth. The book of Isaiah 12:12 states that Satan fell from heaven to earth. He requests God to let him tempt his servant job and see if he will remain faithful. From the scripture, it is evident that Satan had access to earth.

It is unclear whether Satan fell from heaven before or after the creation of man, as the Bible does not reveal that. However, most religious scholars and theologians believe that Satan fell before the creation of man, as he was present when God was laying the foundation of the earth, as stated in Job 38:4-7.
