God’s Love for us humans is sufficient and manifests itself through our daily lives. Jesus accepted to be nailed on the cross and suffer to death for the sake of the whole world’s sins. He denied all odds by sufferings persecution and being sentenced to end without a specific reason to be crucified. What should I do when I don’t feel God’s Love?
A person should pray. It will help in spending time with God. Ask God to rejuvenate himself in you. Submitting to God through prayer and confessing that you do not feel God’s Love will allow God to increase your desire for him.
Another thing to do when you do not feel God’s Love is to read his scripture for re-affirmation. God tells us that he loves us and even gave up his son for us to reconnect with him. Reading the scripture will help you understand that whatever you feel is valid, feelings come and go, and God’s Love for us stays.
Where in the Bible can I get assurance of Jesus’ Love?
Several passages in the Bible talk to us about Jesus’ Love. Jesus showed us the utmost Love by dying on the cross. By that, he paid the hefty price for our sins so that we might reconnect with God and be his friends. John 3:16 explains the Love that Jesus had for us. He accepted to become sin that we are cleansed. A love that no one can show us.
Furthermore, Jesus assures us of his Love in John 13:34-35. “I give you a new commandment: love each other. Just as I have loved you, you must also love each other.
