Other than Jesus being truly human, he is also truly divine. The divine nature of Jesus always makes Him present with human nature. Matthew 28:18-20 implies that Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit will always be with the disciples until the end of the age. Most Bible readers are faced with this question, “Is Jesus Omnipresent?”
According to Ephesians 4:6, the scripture suggests that Jesus is omnipresent because if Jesus is on the right hand of the Father, and the Father is everywhere, then Jesus, too, is everywhere, making Him omnipresent. The Bible further suggests in Matthew 18:20 that Jesus will be in the midst where two or three are gathered. This implies that Jesus is omnipresent.

Does the Bible teach that Jesus is omnipresent?
The book of Romans 8:9 teaches that Jesus is everywhere and dwells with every true Christian. Several Bible scholars believe that Jesus is omnipresent. For example, in Matthew 28:18-20, the Bible says, “Because God is omnipresent, you and I are never alone. Jesus Christ promises to be with us always and everywhere.”
This suggests that Jesus Christ is in heaven and on earth and will always be around His people. In relation to this scripture, God is omnipresent, and Jesus is the son of God. He is also omnipresent.
Moreover, the books of Ephesians 1:22-23, Matthew 18:20, and Mathew 28:20 provide us with better insights into Jesus’s omnipresent nature. Based on the scripture shows that Jesus fills all things, Jesus dwells in each Christian, and Christ is with His Church. Furthermore, the Bible said that Jesus could not be omnipresent in his incarnate body. However, through the Holy Spirit, Jesus is with each follower in all places and at all times.
What does it mean that Jesus is omnipresent?
In connection to Philippians 2:7, Jesus “emptied’ Himself to gain a servant form. This means that He was able to divest himself in divine nature. Being omnipresent was one of them.
Omnipresent is God’s characteristic, indicating that divine nature is not confined or limited by a lesser-created nature. In the same way, Jesus is omnipresent since He is part of the attribute composed of God, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 4:6 says, “One God and Father of us all, that is above all and through all and in all.” From this scripture, some people may ask themselves where the Father is if Jesus is on the right hand of the Father. According to the Bible, the Father is everywhere. If the Father is omnipresent, then Jesus is omnipresent since He is with the Father.
Why did Jesus leave us with the Holy Spirit if he is omnipresent?
In relation to Romans 8:11, the Bible suggests that the spirit that Raised Jesus will dwell in you. Jesus Christ left the Holy Spirit since He promised that after His death, God would send Holy Spirit to live in His people. In the book of John 14:16-17, “And I will pray for the Father, and He will give you another helper, that He may abide with you forever, the spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.”
Jesus left us the Holy Spirit because He knew he would return to heaven and reunite with the Father. In addition, the Holy Spirit took an active role in the creation of the world alongside the Father and the son were present. Psalms 104: 29-30 suggests that Jesus left the Holy Spirit so that He wrestles with sinners and leads sinners to Him.
How can Jesus be omnipresent when he took a physical body?
As per Colossians 2:9, the Bible implies that Jesus is both man and God. We must understand that Jesus has two natures. As a man, by understanding, Jesus could only be in one place at a time. Meaning that his physical human nature could only be in one place at a time. It is challenging to find a human being omnipresent. However, Jesus’s divine nature is omnipresent.
In John 17: 5, Jesus claims the glory which He had with the Father before the world was created. This is because Jesus claims the attributes of an omnipresent divinity, and He is part of it.
Was Jesus Omniscient During His Earthly Life?
Jesus was omniscient in His earthly life. According to Mark 2:8, Jesus knew people’s thoughts. John 6:64, He was in a position to distinguish non-believers from true believers. For example, He knew that Judas would betray Him from the beginning. Furthermore, John 16:30 suggests that Jesus, in fact, knew all things.
Is Jesus’ omnipresence limited by his incarnation?
Jesus took the human body in addition to his divine nature during incarnation. This, in extension, means that Jesus is both fully man and fully God. According to 1 Timothy 2:5 is described as “The Man Christ Jesus.” From the time of Jesus’s conception and to Eternity is not just a spirit but also human flesh.
When Jesus was on earth, he went through what other humans went. John 1:14, 19:28, 1:1, Mark 11:12, and Luke 4:1-12 suggest that Jesus could be touched, get tired, hungry, subjected to temptations, and show emotions. The scriptures also show that he still had his human body after Jesus’s death and resurrection.
Jesus says he will be with us, despite him saying he will leave so that the spirit would come John 15:7. Jesus is in His human body in heaven. However, through the Holy Spirit, he is omnipresent.
Jesus’s omnipresence is, therefore, not limited by his incarnation in any way.
