The people that uphold the doctrine of the Trinity believe that each member of the Trinity, that is, God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, are all omniscient. The explanation behind it is that because God, who is the Father, is all-knowing, this also makes Jesus and the Holy Spirit to be all-knowing. Some people are always wondering, “Is Jesus Omniscient?”

Additionally, He was also in a position to know the history of the Samaritan woman. The Bible further implies that in Jesus Christ is where treasures of wisdom, as well as knowledge, is hidden Colossians 2:3.

According to the book of John 16:30, the Bible teaches that Jesus knew all things through the father. Biblical scholars agree that Jesus has complete and unlimited knowledge perceiving all things. However, there have been some contradictions where some scholars believe that there are some things that Jesus did not know. For instance, in Luke 8:45-46, they argue that how comes Jesus did not know the woman that touched him, yet he had the power to heal her.
Well, while to them seems true, Jesus knew who had touched Him but wanted the will of the father to be fulfilled. Matthew 11:27, the scriptures suggest that all things were handed over to Jesus by the father. It further implies that no one is in a position to know the son apart from the father.
Moreover, before Jesus’s arrest, John 13:11 provides us with a deeper understanding of Jesus’ omniscient nature; since He knew that he would be betrayed by one of his disciples, he went ahead to tell them that not all of them were clean. This meant that Jesus was aware that he would be betrayed by one of His disciples.

The Bible suggests and teaches about Jesus Christ’s omniscient. According to John 21:17, the scripture implies that Jesus knows all things. As Jesus was conversing with Simon, the son of John. He asked Simon if he loved him. At this point, Peter said, “Lord, you know all things.” This means that Simon Peter was aware that Jesus Christ was all-knowing.
Nevertheless, in the book of John 16:30, we get to know some great insight regarding Christ’s omniscient. The disciples of Jesus agreed that Jesus knew all things. They suggested that Jesus was not even supposed to get questioned since they already believed that Jesus came from God. This means that the disciples’ eyes were opened even more concerning Jesus’s pure depths and knowledge. Jesus Christ had spoken to them in a manner they could understand.
Moreover, in John 14:29, the scriptures suggest that Jesus was aware of His impending death, which was in line with the divine purpose. He foretold this to His disciple, rightly knowing that this knowledge would come to pass.
Did Jesus say he was omniscient?
As per Matthew 11:27, Jesus says, “Everything has been handed to me by my Father.” From this verse, we get to learn that Jesus is omniscient. This scripture implies that since God is omniscient and everything has been handed to Jesus, by extension, Jesus is also omniscient.
Jesus did demonstrate that He was omniscient through his actions. In the book of John 14:29, the scripture suggests that Jesus, in other words, said he was omniscient when he said, “I have told you before it happens.” This speculates that Jesus understood the powerful knowledge he had, meaning he knew He was omniscient.

Was Jesus omniscient when he lived on earth?
Yes, Jesus was omniscient when He was living on earth. John 6:64, the Bible implies that Jesus can establish true believers from non-believers. Moreover, in Mark 2:8, the verse suggests that Jesus knew people’s thoughts.
However, some biblical scholars have a contrary opinion about this. For example, they believed that Jesus was not entirely omniscient while on earth. This is because Jesus implied in Mark 13:32 that he did not know the day or hour when He would come back.
