Jesus said, “without me, you can do nothing” in John 15:5 when he was teaching that he is the true vine. Jesus taught He is the vine, God is the vinedresser, and his believers are the branches. He also taught that God prunes the branches that bear fruits so that they can bear more fruits, but he takes away the branches that don’t bear fruits. He said that his believers are righteous because of the words he was teaching them.
Jesus also taught that just like a branch cannot bear fruits without the vine, His believer cannot also bear fruits without Him. It is when He said that without Him, his believers are nothing. Jesus was implying that for his believers to be productive in the Gospel of the Lord, they need to have faith in Him and abide in Him. He said God answers all the prayers of those who abide in Him.

Jesus describes in John 15:5 the principle of a fruitful Christian life. Christians should be connected with Jesus through faith for them to have a fruitful life. This means Christians should believe in Jesus and live according to his teachings. By doing this, they live a God-honoring and ample life of peace and fruitfulness in Christ Jesus.
Jesus says that he is the vine. This means that he exists; hence Christians should have faith in his existence. He says Christians are the branches which means they should always depend on him as their pillar. Jesus is the one that gives Christians strength in whatever they do. They should always be connected to Him to be strengthened in life. Jesus also says that God is the vinedresser. God has power over everything. He blesses those who believe in Jesus and curses those who don’t believe in Him. Therefore those who don’t connect with Jesus are nothing because God will take everything they have away.

Luke 1:37 reads, “For nothing will be impossible with God.” Jesus teaches that God makes even the impossible possible. He controls everything here on earth from his throne. Without God, he will make your world impossible to live in. therefore, you are nothing without God.
John 15:5 reads, “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me, you can do nothing.” Jesus said that he is our strength, and since Jesus is like God, you can also do nothing without God. God holds you together; hence it is only with him that you can be something. He says that you cannot bear fruits without him, and if you cannot bear fruit, you are nothing like a useless fig tree.
John 1:3 reads, “All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made.” The Bible suggests that all things are made through God. It is only through God that you exist. If it was not for Him, you would not be living because he is the creator of everything.
