My bible discussion group and I were hanging out last weekend, and we had a controversial chit-chat. Earlier, one of us came across an article about Satan and decided to share it with the group. During our discussion, what had us going back and forth was, who is Satan’s daughter?
There are different suggestions of who Satan’s daughter is. However, the Bible does not mention that. Different religious scholars and authors speculate Satan had children. However, this is yet to be proven and remains controversial.
Up to this point, you may want to know more. For instance, you may want to know whether there is evidence in the Bible that supports that Satan had a daughter. Also, learn the truth about whether Satan had a daughter with Azazel or Lilith. There are various assumptions on this topic. Read on to get accurate information.
Does the Bible mention that Satan had a daughter?
The Bible does not mention that Satan had a daughter. However, you may have encountered articles or readings that give out different information detailing Satan having children. But what does the Bible say? The scripture gives a description suggesting who God’s children are and Satan’s. In this way, it differentiates whose God’s followers are from those of Satan.
1 John 3:10 In this verse, we get a suggestive description of the devil’s children, which may include daughters. The scripture does not give a direct meaning. Instead, it uses the word children to mean followers. Therefore, you can interpret this verse as those who disagree and follow God’s Word are children or followers of Satan.
John 8:44 Here is another verse that describes who the devil’s children are. As mentioned, the devil’s children are those who abide by his will. They do what he wants, which is against God’s wishes. The verse does not imply children as those born from the devil’s seeds.
Did Satan and Azazel have a daughter?

Based on different books, journals, and literature, Azazel had no daughter. The Bible has no direct mention of Azazel having children. Therefore, we cannot use the scripture to support the implication that Azazel had a daughter.
In Leviticus 16:8-10, we learn of Azazel, which people cast their sins to. In this instance, Aaron offered a sacrifice to Azazel, inform of a goat that would run into the wilderness. This is the only mention of Azazel that does not imply Azazel had a daughter. The New World Encyclopedia agrees with this version, as it describes Azazel as a peculiar desert demon.
According to the book of Enoch, Azazel is one of the fallen angels who were sent to hell with the devil. If the assumption that Azazel was part of the fallen angels, he may have a child through demonic possession. It is the common way in which demons entered human beings. We get an example in Luke 8:30, where a demon had entered man.
As we know, demons can lead to unusual happenings, such as taking away seed or planting a seed in human. From this, we can make an assumption that Azazel may have had a child through demonic possession. It would result to a half-breed child; half human and half demonic. However, this are assumptions yet to be proven through scripture or evidenced literature.
Did Lilith and Satan have a daughter?
The Bible does not mention of Lilith. Therefore we are unable to verify whether Lilith had a daughter based on scripture. However, we get assumptions from various writing that Lilith was Adam’s first wife. According to the Alphabet of Ben Sirach, which narrates a different story of Adam and Eve, Lilith is the first wife of Adam, who went against his wishes to dominate her. This version is highly arguable as she has several children who die one after the other in the book.
In another version, Lilith is assumed to be the first wife of Adam, who was very rebellious and went against his wishes. The story goes on to say Lilith went ahead to commit adultery with Satan and sired a race of evil creatures. However, you should know that these are only assumptions that do not have scripture evidence. More so, the Bible is clear on who Adam’s first wife was, Eve; Genesis 3:20.
There are several stories that give ideas of who Lilith was. You may notice no mention of the devil having children with Lilith. She may be one of the demons. However, we are yet to ascertain its relationship with Satan.
