This is explained in Romans 6:23, which says, For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
If you have already established a personal relationship with Jesus, you connect with him more by abiding in him more and his word. You should also engage in activities like prayer, bible reading, worship, fellowshipping with others, praising, and fasting. All these can bring you closer to Jesus.
Does the Bible teach how to stay connected to Jesus?
The scripture teaches us that we can stay connected to Jesus by remaining in him and following his commands. This is explained in John 15, which talks about Jesus being the true vine and the Father being the gardener. John 15:4 says, Remain in me as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself. It must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
Verse 10 tells us that we can stay connected to Jesus if we keep his commands. This verse says, If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.
According to Paul, we can connect with Jesus by building our lives on his foundation. This is explained in 1st Corinthians 3: 10-11, which says, According to the grace of God given to me like a skilled master builder, I laid a foundation and someone else built upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it, for no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
The Bible also implies that we can connect with Jesus by abiding by his word. John 15:3 says You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. This verse means that we should spend time in his word so that we can be cleansed.

The Bible speculates that one way we can connect with Jesus Christ is through prayer. In Thessalonians 5:17, Paul urged Christians to pray without ceasing. This verse also shares a similar message as Philippians 4:6, which says, Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
The scripture implies that we can connect with God by keeping his commandments. John 14:15 says, If you love me, you will keep my commandments. This can help you strengthen your relationship with Jesus.

In Romans 12:1, Paul says, I urge you, therefore by the mercies of God, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. We can also connect with Jesus by engaging in his work and sharing his word with non-believers. Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus communicates to humans through the Bible. For you to connect to him, you must pay close attention to his words. Reading the Bible can help us understand more about Jesus’ character and trust him more.
God’s word also has a cleansing effect on those who pay attention to it. This is explained in Psalm 119:9, which says, How can a young man cleanse his way by taking heed according to Your word.
Fellowshipping with others
You can also stay connected with Jesus and grow spiritually by fellowshipping with other believers on the same path. Join a Church and engage in small groups like Bible study. When believers meet regularly to worship and fellowship with one another, they have a firm foundation of what God wants them to do.
Hebrews 10:24-25 says, And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Not giving up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the day approaching.
Worshiping Jesus passionately
The Bible also urges us to completely offer ourselves to the Lord. We can do this through worship. Worshiping in our daily lives connects us with Jesus. According to the Bible, staying connected to God helps us bear spiritual fruits and become clean. In John 15:1-10, Jesus tells us to remain in him so that we can produce fruits and become clean.
The Bible also implies that our prayers will be answered when we stay connected to Jesus. John 15:7. This verse says, If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Additionally, the scripture suggests that if we stay connected with Jesus, our strength will increase. 1st John 2:14 says I write to you, young men, because you are strong and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
It is also important to stay connected to Jesus since he can help us maintain a holy life and stay away from sin. This is explained in Psalm 119:11, which says, I have hidden your word that I might not sin against you.
According to the Bible, staying connected to Jesus can also increase our faith. Romans 10:17 says, So then faith comes by hearing and by hearing the word of God.
