Are you burdened with restlessness and unease over life’s troubles? Take a moment and consider God’s tender love for you. Remember His faithfulness thus far, and join me as we cast our cares to Him.
Let’s pray.
Heavenly Father,
I come to you nervous and anxious. I seek peace of mind and freedom from anxiety. Lord, I know that nothing is impossible for you.
Please grant me your peace that surpasses human understanding so I can move forward and overcome my fears and anxiety.
Please strengthen me so I can overcome these negative thoughts, emotions, and perceptions that keep me from enjoying this life you’ve given me.
Fill me with gratitude so my life reflects your love. Please guide me into love, tranquility, and peace. Please help me overcome the obstacles that face me and grant me the gift of faith so I may rest in your promise to never leave nor forsake me.
Teach me to trust you in everything and to commit my needs, wants, and desires into your hands. Restore to me the joy of my salvation and help me find peace amidst the storms of this life.
Help me remember how precious I am in your sight. Remind me that I am worth more than the birds of the air and flowers of the fields.
Heal me, Lord, from the pain and discomfort created by this nervousness.
Father, help me make the right choices and protect me from the enemy’s influence in my vulnerable moments. Quiet my mind and heart so I may listen to your voice.
May your Holy Spirit fill me with love, peace, and joy. Let me remember your provision in the past and teach me to trust you in the present.
O Lord, I cast my burdens on you because you care for me. Please free me from nervousness, restlessness, and anxiety. Remind me daily that I belong to you.
Engulf me in your love and fill me with tranquility. Let my mind focus on things above, not on things below. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer and your tender mercy and love that’s renewed every morning.
