Almighty God,

I thank you because you are the giver of peace and life. You have loved us so much that you gave your only begotten son to die for us on the cross for our sins to be forgiven.

Today, I cast all my cares to you because you said in Psalm 55:22 that I should cast all my burdens to you and, you shall sustain me: “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.”

Dear Lord, I ask you to give me peace in my mind, body, soul, and spirit. Heal my heart and remove anything causing worry, sorrow, or grief.

Fill my heart with your spirit because where the spirit is, there is freedom. Guide my path so that I may not walk into trouble and cause my enemies to be at peace with me.

I choose not to be anxious about anything as I bring my petitions with thanksgiving before you. Forgive me for the anxious thoughts that cloud my mind.

I claim and declare your promises for the blessing of peace that surpasses all understanding in my life. I capture every thought causing arguments and storms in my mind and make it obedient to Christ.

Transform my thought patterns so that I may discern your voice and walk in the right path. I run to you and fix my thoughts on you for your peace to reign in me.

I pray for peace in my family, workplace, and my community. Father, help me to be a peacemaker in my community. I invite your presence in my life so that in the uncertainties and temptations of this life, you will be my fortress and source of strength.

Dear Lord, when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to you, my Rock. I embrace your promise to never leave me or forsake me.

Father, help me not to run to the things of this world but place my trust and hope in you alone. I receive your peace now, for you created me for it.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Amen.
