Powerful prayer for a family (The most powerful intercessory prayer to pray over your family)

Every family on earth is known to God. You are blessed with a family. Now, it’s time to declare great things about it, and they will be established, as Job 22:28 says, “You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways.”

Pray over your family; that the good Lord continues to hold you together, He continues to sustain you, provides every need, and protects you.

Now, let us pray in faith.

Gracious God,

I thank You for my family. Thank You for my spouse and the children You have given us. Thank you for keeping us alive to this day and being there for us, for You say that You will never leave or forsake us.

Lord, I come to You to commit my family to You. I pray that You continue to strengthen us together.

I thank You for the children You brought into my life. Children are a heritage from You, and I commit them to your hands. Behold, I and the children You’ve given me are signs and wonders here and beyond.

Grant us wisdom and understanding in everything we do as You say in Your word that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask You, and as You are generous to all, we ask for wisdom.

Let us excel in every area that you’ve called us. We are heads and not tails. And because of that, failure and disappointment are not our portion as a family.

And let my children increase in stature and wisdom and favor before men as they grow.

Oh Lord God, protect us from any form of accident, from any form of evil, because if You don’t watch over a city, the watchmen do so in vain.

I ask for Your protection both at home and when we are away. Continue to keep us in good health and let sickness not come near us.

Give us the grace to serve You, and let Your glory shine on us. Let Your face shine on us. Let none of us die early, and may we live long to see Your goodness in the land of the living and testify of it.

And let us dwell in Your presence all the days of our lives.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.
