As a child of God, you might be facing a tough time, fighting spiritual battles in your life. In these battles, you need the Holy Spirit to help you so that you may not be defeated.
For you do not fight against flesh and blood but with principalities and power of darkness as seen in Ephesians 6:12, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
So, lift your faith in God and let us pray.
Dear God,
Thank you because you enable me to be a victor in my battles. I put my trust in you because you are the great man in battle, and those who put their trust in you can never be defeated.
Lord, there are times that I feel weary and feel like I am losing the battle because, just like your Apostle Paul, I find myself doing what I do not want to do.
Please, God, help me overcome the Power of the world and to identify the schemes of the devil. Your word encourages me in 1 Peter 5:8-10 that you strengthen us even through the suffering because our enemy, the devil, roams around like a roaring lion in search of those to devour.
Give me strength to defeat him, O Lord. I pray, dear Father, that you give me the strength to overcome attacks of the devil, the kind of strength that you gave your Son Jesus when He was in the wilderness.
He was able to overcome the trials of Satan, so help me also to overcome them.
I have confidence in you because you already won the battle for me. You broke the chains put on us by the enemy, and by your power, you set us free.
Now, I can stand on that victory and declare I am a conqueror through you. Father, equip me with spiritual weapons so that I may be able to fight because your weapons have the Power to bring down the strongholds of the enemy.
Strengthen my faith in you and give me wisdom so that I fight spiritual battles with courage. Give me the spirit of discernment so that I will be able to discern the plans of the devil in his canning trickeries.
I believe that with you, I will not be defeated because those who trust in you are like Mt. Zion, which can never be shaken.
In Jesus’s name, I pray.
