Almighty God,

Through Your Will, we are all born. By Your Grace, we all live, and by Your command, we all will die. By Your wish, we have come from dust, and unto dust, we will all return.

Lord God, we know that those who have died are still living in Your presence, and death is not the end but the beginning of a life in Your companionship.

We pray for those family members, relatives, and friends who have gone before us. May You judge them according to their works here on Earth.

Heavenly Father, we know we will all live again through Christ. Christ defeated death so that we may have hope for an everlasting life.

We pray that you may show mercy upon our deceased and that they may also enjoy Heaven’s rewards.

Lord God, as You welcome our loved ones in Your embrace, we pray that You may find it in Your Heart to forgive their sins and trespasses while on Earth.

Grant them Your Heavenly love and grace, so they may find the peace and comfort they have lacked in this world. Lord, may they find happiness in death.

May You take away their suffering and wipe away their tears, for in Your presence, there will be no more pain and crying.

Lord, thank you for the time you allowed us to spend with our departed family, friends, and relatives. Their memories will forever remain with us.

May we find solace and comfort in knowing they are now in a better place, where You have prepared for them. Although we may mourn and feel pain, we will live, hoping to meet them again after our work here is also done.

Dear Lord, we hope that our departed are in the wonderful company of your Son, Jesus Christ. The One who died but now is alive.

That they are happy in your Kingdom, where we will one day be reunited, to forever praise You and glorify Your name.

Amen.
