A joyful prayer for salvation (say this prayer of salvation to receive Jesus Christ today)

Receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is the best thing you can do in this life. God loves you so much, and He would not like you to perish but to have eternal life only by trusting in Him, as seen in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

There is joy in giving your life to Christ because you become an heir, together with Him. So, open your heart to God, and let’s pray.

Dear Father,

I believe in your saving Power that is constantly at work. You have loved me so much to offer me the gift of salvation just by your mercy.

I believe you sent your son Jesus Christ to die for my sins, and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and Savior. Father, I desire to be called your child because those who believed in you, you gave the right to be called your children.

I want to receive you in my heart and have a personal relationship with you. I want to lead a life like you and live for you, Lord.

Fill me with the Holy Spirit, the helper that you promised you would send us to show us the way. I do not want to miss eternal life, and I know that no one comes to the Father except through you, Jesus, because you are the way, the truth, and the life.

Come to my heart, Lord.

I repent my sins, for I know that I am a sinner. By your unending mercies, Lord, you forgave the sins of the sinful woman. Please forgive me.

Reconnect me with your love, and help me be bound with you. I do not want to be separated from you again, because I know that sin separates me from you, forgive me.

I want to be made perfect by your grace to be justified by faith so that I may have peace in you through Christ Jesus. I want to delight in you when I get into your house because being in your presence for a day is worth more than a thousand elsewhere.

This is my desire, to dwell in your courts all days of my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Amen.
