A compassionate prayer for world peace (Say this heartfelt prayer for world peace)

Our world has been engulfed with endless conflicts and wars, robbing us of the precious gift of peace that Christ left us in John 14:27 before his ascension: “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Peace for the world is special; we can receive it from our heavenly father when we ask him in prayer.

Now, believe in your heart that God can give us peace and let us pray.

Dear heavenly Father,

I thank You because You have given us, as Your creation, a wonderful planet and world to live in. I see your greatness and love in every one of your creations.

I perceive that every detail you have put in our world was to ensure that humanity has everything we need, as your word states.

Therefore, I thank you because I know your plan and desire are for us to live excellently in a peaceful world.

Although you have provided us with a perfect world, we have not been faithful to you and have engaged in endless wars and conflicts. I ask for your forgiveness.

I ask for your forgiveness because individuals and nations have not heeded your word which urges us to live in peace.

Lord, today I pray for peace in our world. Be gracious, turn your face towards us, and give us peace. I pray for peace between nations and ask you to bring wars and conflicts to a stop.

You have promised that if we humble ourselves and seek your face through prayers, you will hear us from heaven and heal our land.

I pray that you will give us peace and let it be a healing power in our world.

Your word tells us that you bless your people with peace. I humbly ask for the blessing of peace in our world. May you cause our leaders to seek and cultivate peace so that we can enjoy everything you have provided us.

Lord Jesus, I know that you are the prince of peace, and I know that you have the power to cause peace in our world. Our trust and faith for a peaceful world is in you.

In Jesus’s name, I pray.

Amen.
