Dear Lord Jesus,
I come before you today, thanking you for the gift of life and for this far you have brought me. I thank you for your grace and faithfulness and for choosing me to become your child.
Despite your love and the right to be called your child, I sometimes I feel unworthy and unsure of myself. I come before you today, praying for confidence and the courage to face life without fear.
When life’s challenges come rolling like waves to my life, remind me of your love and your promise never to leave me alone.
Just as your servant Gideon sought courage to fight, I pray for confidence to face any challenge that life may bring my way. I pray that your Holy Spirit shall always speak in my heart to assure me that I am worthy.
Despite the shortcomings that I have, remind me that I am fearfully and wonderfully made in your image and that I can face any challenge just as you overcame the cross.
Just as You were with Moses in Egypt despite his shortcomings, I pray that You boost my confidence and assure me that I can do all things through You who strengthen me.
Whenever I am engulfed with fear and doubt, remind me that I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength.
Give me the courage to accept my strengths and weaknesses and to use them to better myself. Your word tells me to be strong and courageous and that you are always with me wherever I go.
Holy Spirit, fill my heart with confidence during times of trial. Even when the situation seems difficult, your word reminds me that no trial is too difficult that I cannot handle.
Erase all self-limiting doubts that cripple my progress in life. Give me the courage to approach every situation with calmness and to know that everything works for my benefit.
Help me to trust in you and to trust that you have bigger and better plans to prosper my life.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray.
