Jesus Christ sacrificed his life so that we can be saved. Now, as we recall how our savior, Jesus Christ, was betrayed and condemned for our sins this Good Friday, let us humble ourselves before God and recognize His unending love for us.
Now, let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father,
You are a merciful and selfless God, for you delivered mankind from the burden of sin. Your son suffered on the cross and shed blood to save me from sin.
My nature is filled with weakness, but yet he chose to die for me. Cleanse me of my sins with your power, for you are so powerful and make me emulate an example of your son Jesus Christ.
As I reflect on this special day, I pray that you protect me from temptations that can lead to any sin.
The death of your son Jesus Christ on the cross is a merciful beginning of my life. The past, present, and future were dealt with on the cross because you had good plans for me.
Plans of prosperity and not evil and to give a future and hope. I put my hope in the Lord to strengthen my faith even in the most challenging moments in life.
Whenever storms overwhelm me, I will stand firm in faith for you make me lie down in green pastures, you lead me beside still waters and restore my soul.
Therefore, I will not fear any evil because you are always beside me to comfort me.
Because of his death, I am more than a conqueror, and I have the gift of eternal life. I am so grateful for this unique demonstration of love.
Thank you for forgiving my sins and granting me eternal life. You deserve all the glory and honor. Let my daily actions reflect the life of Jesus Christ on earth.
Give me the grace to touch lives, help those who need my help, and help those who are lost back to you, for you are our Creator.
Let me comprehend that there is time and season for everything for me to embrace every season of my life with a heart full of gratitude.
