Dear Father,

Thank you for the love you have shown me to be where I am today. Your grace has been sufficient to me, and you have given me the strength to continue on this journey.

I come to you at this moment to ask for your help in strengthening the relationships that have been so challenging for me. Lord, it has been so trying for me to relate well with people, and your will is for me to live well with people.

Give me wisdom, Lord, to know how to talk to People, without ruining my relationship with them, because your word tells me in Proverbs 15:1 that a gentle answer turns away anger, but a hash one stirs it up: “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”

I desire to have talks that leave my relationships with others strong. Help me to love others better so that I may have good relationships with them.

Your word reminds me that without love, everything else is meaningless because love covers a multitude of sins.

Father, take away any selfishness from my Heart that may hinder me from working on my relationships with people. Let my Heart be open to building strong relationships that will glorify you and bring joy to me and those I love.

Give me a faithful Heart to be faithful to those I love and those who love me. A Heart that is forgiving and gentle to be able to bear with anyone who wrongs me because this is what you recommend for those whom you have chosen.

Above all, Lord, I pray you strengthen my relationship with you. You sent your son Jesus Christ to die on the cross so that He may reconnect me with you.

I pray that you may strengthen this relationship and help me to continue loving you as you love me. I commit all my relationships to you so you may strengthen them and lead them for your glory.

I believe you will do this because you tell us that when we pray, we believe that we have received it.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Amen.
